Caroline is the head of energy modeling and performance for McKinstry, where she has worked since 2011. Caroline plays a key role on all major McKinstry projects in terms of systems alternatives and approaches. She has a deep understanding of how energy models and real building performance interact. She worked at the Rocky Mountain Institute from 2007 to 2011 as Senior Consultant, where she led research into the business case for energy efficiency in residential and commercial buildings for RMI’s Reinventing Fire initiative, focused on how to transition the U.S. off fossil fuels by 2050. She holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering and Sustainable Building Design from Stanford. Caroline is a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Washington.
