Alisa works on Rocky Mountain Institute’s buildings team splitting her time between their residential and commercial energy initiatives. She recently published (or will publish by the GTZF) an insight brief on best practices for net zero energy leasing. A mechanical engineer by training, Alisa also provides technical and economic analysis to buildings projects, including net zero energy affordable housing retrofits and unlocking NZE new construction homes at no additional cost using R-PACE.

Prior to joining RMI, Alisa worked for Seventhwave, a nonprofit energy efficiency company in Madison, where she served as an Energy Engineer and Project Manager. At Seventhwave, Alisa provided technical assistance to commercial building owners and design teams to help inform a more energy efficient building design.
