Net Zero Buildings Week

Welcome!  We are excited to start promoting Net Zero building resources during a promotion week running March 29-April 2 and delighted that you will join us.  Below, you will find background and resources to help you get started.

How to participate

Net Zero Buildings Week is promotion showcasing zero energy and carbon neutral resources. We know these resources are readily available across a number of organizations and want to see if collectively we can broaden the audience who is accessing these tools and information.

The plan for the #NetZeroNow campaign is simple:

 1) Curate a list of key resources (yours or others’) that support the policies, design, construction, financing, or operation of zero energy or carbon neutral buildings.

 2) Share your social channels and follow the participating organizations on their social media platforms that align with your platforms (i.e., Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc). Download a linked matrix to make finding all the accounts easier.

3) The week prior, tease the campaign using our graphics and NetZeroNow or Net Zero Buildings Week logos.

4) During the week, post your key resources with #NetZeroNow hashtag and feature the NetZeroNow logo and graphics.

 5) Share generously the posts of others participating in the campaign.

We know that collectively we have the power to create a clean energy, low-carbon future. So we ask, how will you bring about the future we need right now? Let’s get started!

Questions? Contact Connie Umphress, NBI Communications Manager at [email protected]. Please feel free to share this information widely with your networks. We want as many people sharing as possible.

Boilerplate, Media Advisory & Stakeholder Invite

Net Zero Buildings Week will be held March 29-April 2, 2021 and is led by building industry organizations working to showcase and promote the benefits of net zero buildings for a clean energy future. Organizations are collectively presenting zero energy and carbon neutral resources, professional practices, and project case studies for ONE week at the end of March to illustrate the opportunities for Getting to Zero.  The campaign aims to raise awareness for net zero building performance by reaching 100,000 building owners, operators, architects, engineers, construction firms, consultants and others designing, building, owning and operating new construction and renovation projects.  Join us and use the hashtag #NetZeroNow to share!
