Equity at Work: Designing an Inclusive and Equitable Workplace Culture

This report, published by Mithun, explores the intersection of racial justice, workplace culture and design practice through an initial literature review, a national survey of 575 design professionals, and 10 semi-structured interviews. The findings inform a set of recommendations aimed at supporting design practices in the improvement of their workplace cultures from a lens of racial justice and inclusion. The research is a collaboration between the University of Washington College of Built Environments Applied Research Consortium and Mithun, led by Jake Minden.
